Atlanta private aviation and FBO transfers

RWB Transport arranges Atlanta private aviation transfers for passengers and crews using DeKalb-Peachtree Airport and Fulton County Executive Airport at Brown Field. Share the airport, FBO, aircraft details, and onward destination so the ground journey starts at the correct building. Request a single transfer or discuss a vehicle for a day of meetings and appointments.

An FBO pickup needs an FBO address

Private aviation arrivals use individual facilities with their own reception areas and collection instructions. The airport name identifies the airfield, but it may not identify the passenger exit. Ask the flight team for the operating FBO and the address where passengers will meet their ground transportation. Provide that information when arranging the trip rather than relying on the airport’s general map location.

The final plan should identify who is traveling, how much luggage accompanies them, and who can communicate with RWB after arrival. An executive assistant, passenger, or flight coordinator may arrange the transfer, but the person on the ground also needs the agreed pickup instructions. If those roles are held by different people, include both contacts and make clear which one can confirm that the passengers are ready to leave.

DeKalb-Peachtree Airport transfers

DeKalb-Peachtree Airport, known as PDK, serves private and corporate aviation northeast of central Atlanta. The county’s published FBO directory lists Signature Aviation, Aero Centers Atlanta, and Atlantic Aviation. RWB can arrange transportation to or from the FBO used by your flight. The correct operator must be confirmed with the flight team because different operators have different passenger facilities.

For onward travel from PDK, name the actual hotel, office building, residence, or venue. A Buckhead meeting and a north metro appointment create different routes, even when both are described as Atlanta. If the passengers need to stop at a hotel before continuing to a meeting, include the stop and the required meeting arrival time in the original request.

Fulton County Executive Airport transfers

Fulton County Executive Airport at Brown Field, identified as FTY, is a general aviation airport on the west side of Atlanta. Fulton County lists Hill Aircraft and Signature as the airport’s two FBOs. Confirm the operator handling the aircraft and provide its passenger meeting address. An FTY reservation should identify that destination explicitly rather than using ATL as shorthand for every Atlanta flight.

RWB can arrange a direct onward transfer or review an itinerary with several stops. For a west-side business appointment, supply the building and visitor entrance, not only the company name. If the destination requires a visitor registration or a host to meet the passenger, allow for that in the schedule. The requested drop-off should be a place the passenger is permitted and expected to enter.

Build the trip around three details.
  1. 01PeoplePassengers, luggage, and individual needs.
  2. 02PlacesExact entrances, terminals, and every stop.
  3. 03TimingArrival deadlines, changes, and the return.

Aircraft timing and ground readiness

RWB uses flight tracking for airport transportation. For a private flight, include the aircraft details and any updated arrival information available from the operator. A change of airport, FBO, or arrival date should be communicated directly. Those are changes to the ground reservation as well as the flight plan, and the final transportation arrangements should be confirmed against the revised itinerary.

Landing does not necessarily mean the passengers are at the collection point. Ask the flight coordinator to confirm the expected ground arrangements and provide a reachable contact. If the flight is continuing and only some passengers are leaving, specify the group being collected. For a separate crew hotel transfer, list the crew count and hotel destination independently from the passenger movement so the two trips are not confused.

A transfer or a vehicle for the business day

A point-to-point transfer suits a journey from the FBO to one destination. If the trip includes several meetings, a lunch appointment, and a return to the aircraft, discuss hourly, as-directed transportation. RWB’s hourly service has a four-hour minimum. Supply the anticipated finish time and all known addresses so the request describes the time and travel actually needed.

When a vehicle is retained, waiting locations depend on parking and access at the stops. Confirm the itinerary and the applicable reservation arrangements with RWB before travel. Additional stops or a later finish should be communicated to the team. A return to the FBO also needs its own arrival deadline, set with the flight team, rather than an assumption that the aircraft can depart whenever the road journey ends.

Vehicle choice and a personal point of responsibility

Passengers, luggage, and equipment should all be included in the vehicle request. RWB offers sedans, SUVs, and Sprinters, with the selection based on the group and what travels with it. Tell the team about oversized bags or presentation materials. For a party splitting between a hotel and a business destination, specify whether you want one route with stops or separate requested transfers.

RWB is family-owned, and owner Bernard still drives. The private aviation service focuses on the details between the aircraft facility and the final destination, including the FBO entrance, passenger contact, and return schedule. For recurring business travel, ask about corporate accounts and account access to trip history and invoices. Confirm the arrangements that apply to your organization rather than assuming every trip uses the same billing terms.

Questions before you book

Which Atlanta private aviation airports do you serve?

RWB arranges private aviation transfers at PDK and FTY. Provide the full airport and operating FBO when you request service. If your flight uses another airport, send that location for review rather than substituting the nearest major airport name. The confirmed reservation should reflect where the aircraft and passengers will actually arrive.

Does an FBO transfer include collection beside the aircraft?

The meeting location depends on the FBO’s access instructions and the arrangements confirmed for your trip. Do not assume that a ground reservation includes access beside the aircraft. Ask your flight coordinator or FBO for the permitted passenger collection point and share it with RWB before arrival.

Can you transport both passengers and charter crews?

Yes. Include the passenger and crew movements in your request, identifying each group’s destination and luggage. A crew hotel run may have a different collection time and address from the passenger transfer. List each movement separately so the plan can account for both groups without treating them as one shared journey.

Can we keep a vehicle between meetings?

Ask for hourly, as-directed service when you need transportation available across a series of stops. RWB’s hourly service has a four-hour minimum. Send the expected schedule, meeting addresses, and return FBO deadline. The team can then review the requested duration and vehicle instead of quoting only the first airport transfer.

Tell us about the trip.

Share your date, itinerary, passengers, and any special arrangements. We will discuss the right plan with you.
